Reflects a shared vision with our Project Directors, Elaine Woo to create a showhouse interior that is timeless, refined, and thoughtfully designed according to the theme which blends with market demand.
Red Land Design team not emphasizing the showhouse just for sake of showcase. Elaine Woo leading the team to create a home that reflected the life she aspire to; calm, functional, and elevated which practical for family routines, but inspiring for young working owner. The vision was about balance: ‘Japandi’ paired with international nuances, resulting in a sophisticated space.
Natural wood grain, earthy materials, neutral color palettes, as well as uncluttered spaces accented with functional objects are the key elements while Elaine and design team crafting the space concept of the double storey terrace house located in Simpang Pulai, Ipoh. Natural light, too, is prioritized, often employed in an artistic, almost Vermeer-like way. “Furnishings and objects are kept to a minimum,” says Elaine. “A certain thing was made for a certain job, there is a strong sense of appropriateness, of order, and of place. Japandi designs come from a close relationship with nature and were decided by the combining of materials, techniques, and usage.” A Japandi interior looks, and feels, honest.
Once stepping into the room, the home owner enters a calm serene world. This is a real experience where Japanese wabi-sabi simplicity meets Scandinavian functional warmth.
