Measuring 3,600 square feet, turning each interior joinery element, artistically crafted with unique marbles imported from Yunfu (formerly romanized as Wanfow), China, the semi detached house was blended with well chosen materials, laminate and interior color choice by Red Land Design, the client's second house is an astonishing domicile, certainly qualifies as mini extravagant on the interior effects. Every detail of the sprawling property has been meticulously conceived and executed.
The house was a double-storey unit developed by Taiko Properties in Bandar Seri Botani known for its township planning, built next to the largest eco park in Ipoh had us as architecture and interior design team created a refined yet relaxed character for the property. Receiving CCC in 2025, the design team lead by Canny Chung and Chris Lau started to review, altering client's mood board, understand their lifestyle to introducing warmth, texture and functional connection between spaces while retaining the original character of the house.

We aware marble is part of luxurious language. It is the reason our team travelled far to Yunfu, China to source the best art pieces to blend with interior design while not overrunning the budget. As client influenced by modern house from China and have frequent friends gathering in the house, we enhancing some stone panels and top with transparent lighting where owner can control the brightness and colors to suits their mood.

Start at the foyer, instead of placing a feature painting on the wall, we install a light transparent Pandora marble where it resembles tree and leaves effect to blend with side wall fluted panel which functioned as hidden door to access the light behind the stone. Overall this piece of art makes the owner and guest and elevated tone before they discover more on the next section or space of the house interior.

Red Land Design has established a long term collaboration with Unicraft. For this project, the team had crafted a double volume high wall art inspired by Ipoh natural limestone.
“Each zone offers a distinct atmosphere, while maintaining a cohesive, overall language that feels inviting, layered, and highly artistic,” Canny explains.
Achieving this sense of cohesion was a challenge—one that Red Land Design tackled primarily through a consistent material palette, tonal continuity, and carefully considered transitions between space. By using warm neutrals and natural textures, the team created a grounding, comfortable environment that feels authentically mystery and personally cool to the couple.
In the formal dining room, there is one focal point we built joinery applying special tundra blue marble backdrop with customize display cabinet cater for client to display his liquor collection makes the space feels unique and personal.
“It’s a grounded space for Mr. Ng” says Canny. “The dining room summarize what the owner wants to represent his characteristic and lifestyle through meaningful artwork in carpentry work design, with collectibles luxury spirits display and contemporary furnishings, resulting in a space that feels intimate and highly personal. There is a strong sense of warmth and permanence, achieved through thoughtful layering and careful curation.”

The bedroom is where every house owner comes to decompress from the world at the end of the night and where they open their eyes to seize the day. We design bed panel in dreamy texture lets the owner escape and gather their thoughts. Overall the design lets the owner float and the walk in closet makes owner want to talk to themselves while you’re getting dressed.

When comes to the authentic level of entertainment, one would not cut budget for the high end sound system with aesthetic ambience to match. Apart from acoustic panel solution, the side wall fluted panel with LED lights where Mr. Ng loves the one we did in one of our previous bungalow projects in Jalan Dato Khong Kam Tak
