We need to go far, put more time and effort when comes to construction materials that able to lower down the build up cost without compromise the quality and design.

Foshan province in Guangdong, China is a jewel to architects, interior designers and builders. On this trip, Red Land Design® expose the team with innovative products, importing new materials to input in our projects, not to mention bringing some of our clients for furniture sourcing.

Our talents are the key to success in a continually shifting competitive environment where staying ahead and capable to bring up creative solutions through convincing capability are imperative. After recharging from CNY break, we are proud to invite none other than KT Pillai to a development program designed to challenge our audacious team on enhancing their public speaking and presentation skill.

In 2022, Victor and his brother, Irwin wanted to fulfil a dream; to have a new comfy home for their mother.
Purchased in Ridgewood as a bare unit, he engages our firm to design and built a major construction from existing house structure with modern interior design work to cater exclusively for their mother. Edmund who was at the helm happily handover to the lovely family recently.
.
Edmund was responsible for the interiors and site renovation management work, a task that involved filling out a disarmingly large and empty shell in a way that communicated warmth and coziness. Another thing to consider was reconciling the tastes of her mother, who loves anything ultramodern; and her own clean and snuggly vibe.
.
At the center of the house, a masculine theme in leather and dark oak brown colored in leisure area where it becomes a relaxing reading space with books and liquor storage to serve the purpose.
"When my brother and I return home, the sense of belongings through these small detail of these elements connect us with our roots," says Victor.
.
At his home in Ridgewood, Ipoh, Victor and Irwin has been just as faithful in honoring Chinese tradition; not just emphasize on modernism but also remaining the ancestral decor and traditional cutlery into a dining tribute to the oriental style.
.
The custom built kitchen cabinet in oak laminate that we incorporated with Callacata white quartz table top and backsplash adds a quiet shot of drama to the cooking room.

"That’s probably my favorite part of the house, beautiful yet functional” says Victor's mother.

.

“The nice thing about interior design,” Edmund says of this particular project, “is that when you have constraints, it forces you to make more of an effort to be thoughtful.” For example, a lot of energy goes into thinking about bringing spa feel in the bathroom, infusing the space with an organic, inviting élan that emphasizes comfort and warmth. Thankful our client Victor always opens for our proposal which resulted able to served the objective.

Special made bathtub enhanced through creating a very bewitching light as it’s reflected off the water. This enhanced the modern design bathroom which also brought some futuristic feel.

Inside the bedroom, our interior designer developed uncluttered bent complemented with natural art setting. Our thought on this design is where house owner can have a lot of fun with materials and texture that bring in pops of color with art.

People wondering how to create a dream home; despite having a clear vision on their ideal theme, design and practicality requirements with support from both interior designer(s) and contractor team, still the challenges is formidable. Throughout our professional practice here in Red Land Design®, the key other than what mentioned, it is the right positive mentality with trust between owner and the team they work with. Your skydive instructor will be facing hard times pulling parachute while doing a tandem jump if you do not have trust since the jump kickoffs.  On this project, it shown a great example how these components work like magic. Beautiful people, beautiful home.

STEPPING INTO THIS VICTORIAN INTERIOR DESIGN HOUSE IS LIKE STANDING ON THE GROUNDS OF A MINI ENGLISH PALACE

It's early fall in Italy, while Dato Anuar and his wife sat for lunch, under the table was terrazzo flooring, the area of what several hundred years ago would have been an outdoor kitchen, one of numerous stone-walled buildings in the hotel making up their lovely holiday near Piacenza. To create a similar sweet spot for weekend getaway when they are in Malaysia, Dato needs to find a right design firm in Ipoh to surprise his wife.

Angie Lee is the princess of elegant in Red Land Design®. She turns a this old single storey property bought by Dato Anuar to a cinematic Victorian Royal House theme. Her work in this interior architecture equivalent of Shakespeare note: classy, impressive and wholly unexpected.

"Every project, regardless of its scale, is an opportunity for us to forge a meaningful connection. Experiencing enchantment is our goal, much like the moment when the owner's wife falls in love at first sight with the understated simplicity of our modern classic English design".

Preserving the original terrazzo flooring pays homage to the historical roots, adding a touch of timeless features to this weekend retreat.

Confronting the challenge of a low plaster ceiling, we embraced a bold approach in our decision-making eventually by elevating the ceiling design. Because, honestly, some classics are just too good to let go, especially when seamlessly blended with the allure of the new.

This house interior was transformed from an average village house near Sunway, Ipoh to an aristocratic theme which full of hand crafted furniture in gold element, custom made fittings and tastefully hand picked decor by Angie herself.

The mission on designing this house interior, Angie endeavored to revive the home’s dull interior to historical aura while injecting his own eclectic style.

Afifah, one of our senior Interior Designers together with Angie curates the Dato Anuar new home with blast of vibrant gold color with a tusk white and a vast collection of Italian design pieces by not leaving behind Muslim element on it.

Chris Lau is picky when comes to accepting personal project. For this unit where the owner willing to spend an illimitable budget to bring his personality through a story telling interior, he can't take no as an answer. Chris with assistance of Peggy Cham, travelled from China to Europe to source materials and collectible art decor for creating the 1,162 Sq.Ft.  condominium interior in Tiger Lane, Ipoh. Here is another part of the project story.

Table top with backsplash was handpicked by Chris from Antico Stone to go with Italian farmhouse sink.

The custom solid wood trunk from over 100 years old rain tree by Chai Joywood with antique style pendent and special order vintage chairs are among the highlights in dining section.
